Imagine this: you are working in-house at one of the world’s largest technology companies. Behind the scenes, you ensure that international airfreight rates worth millions of euros are accurate and that the complete Airfreight Rate Book is available worldwide.
You are the central link between the technology company, your employer and international logistics partners. Every day, you work with Procurement Managers, Sourcing Managers and Airfreight Managers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. One person is waiting for rates, another needs capacity information, while you maintain the overview. Stakeholder management is therefore a key part of this role.
You also enjoy working with data. You analyse Rate Cards, KPIs, carrier performance and transport volumes, identify discrepancies and contribute ideas on new transport lanes, capacity issues and international RFQ processes. Excel will be open for most of the day, and you enjoy translating figures into concrete actions.
This role suits you if you like taking ownership, chasing transport partners when information is missing and coordinating different stakeholders and interests.

You will work in-house at an international technology company but will officially be part of a global forwarding organisation. There is a reason many people stay here for years. You will also take over from a colleague who is progressing into a new position within the organisation. He has held this role for the past three years and will provide a thorough onboarding programme, allowing you to get off to a strong start.
